Dr. Woodruff Imberman leads the Imberman & DeForest, Inc., team.
He specializes in helping companies design and implement programs like Gainsharing Plans and in preparing executive development programs. Additionally, Dr. Imberman formulates operational improvement strategies, assists in turning around troubled companies and in developing programs that foster positive employee relations climates in union and non-union companies alike. The goal is always the same—improved productivity and increased profitability.
Over his career, Dr. Imberman has directed programs at numerous companies. These include Fortune 500 ones like Nucor, Timken, Rockwell International’s aerospace divisions (now part of Boeing), and Inland Steel (now part of Aspat), as well as smaller ones such as Kay Manufacturing Co., Orion Industries, Ltd., Tibor Machine Products, Wrought Washer Manufacturing Co., and Signode (now part of Illinois Tool Works).
Dr. Imberman has lectured at over a dozen universities, including Indiana University, Tulane University, Lake Forest College Graduate School of Management, and DePaul University in Chicago He has published over 400 articles on various aspects of human resource administration and compensation (see reports and articles website page).
